Hearing test may be failing to ID older teens with problems

Our schools regularly test student’s hearing in grades 1,2,3, and 7. That’s great except one thing: a study performed by Penn State College of Medicine researchers recently found the tests may not be testing for the high frequency hearing ranges that are at risk when regularly exposed to loud noises.  So school tests may not be giving you an accurate picture of your child’s hearing.
